🐢 SLOWPOKE SALE!
I have more new products waiting to be listed than I have time to properly list them. Product listings (copywriting and photography) took me ages before I became a mum, and now it's like The Neverending Story.
So I thought I'd make it fun and turn it into a game: race the slowpoke (me)! Enjoy 10% off these new products with stock photos and descriptions, until I can find the time to showcase them properly. Everyone wins, and I can free up some more shop storage space.
See the full slowpoke-sale collection here.

Extend the life of well-worn, beloved pieces using these creative techniques.
Mending With Love shows you how to apply embroidery, patching, darning, felting, stamping and a little crochet to worn pieces of clothing or household items. Instead of stowing or throwing away damaged pieces that hold happy memories, you can employ these beautiful and sustainable ideas to give them a new life.
With this book, you'll learn how to:
- Repair knitted and woven fabrics
- Work with flat and curved surfaces
- Artfully repair comfy, well-made socks and gloves
- Make a statement with creative patching
- Fill in holes with roving using felting techniques
- Use embroidery to visibly mend frays or damage from the odd cat claw
- Apply other tips and techniques to torn, worn, or stained favorites
Creative as well as practical, mending is both a source of pleasure and an eco-friendly fashion statement. Instead of buying more stuff with less meaning, this method allows you to hold on to the things that have a special place in your heart. As "fast fashion" has rapidly expanded, mending has re-emerged as a popular, environmentally-friendly movement around the world.
Slow mode
This shop is in slow mode so I can do alllll the things – including running this shop and running after two tiny tots – and enjoy my life. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
I'm currently dispatching orders once a week; place your order by 5pm Thursday Melbourne time (AEST) for dispatch by Monday.
(NOTE: I drop off most orders at my local post office on Fridays, but I'm told they don't physically leave the post office and start making their way to you until Monday.)
If you select Express Post at checkout, it will speed up Australia Post's delivery timeframe but won't speed up my process.
After your order has been packed, you will receive an email notification with your Australia Post tracking number, which you can use to check on the delivery status of your order.
Local delivery
Customers in Northcote, Thornbury and nearby suburbs (subject to capacity) can select local delivery at checkout. Local delivery is extra-slow and coincides with my pram-walking/kid-wrangling schedule, up to one week after purchase. ٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶
