Darning needles are long and have a large eye for easy threading of the thicker threads and yarns most often used for darning.

This set contains 10 sharp-pointed darning needles of different sizes and lengths, suitable for darning very fine to medium-weight knitwear, including most socks. The thinner needles in the pack could be used for hand-sewing and embroidery projects as well. They would work well with Mend it upcycled mending yarn, Scanfil mending wool, Scanfil cotton mending yarn, Cottage Garden Threads or any sewing thread (hand-stitching only; sewing thread is too thin for darning).

For thicker needles with blunt tips (for darning chunky hand-knit items), try Clover darning needles. For a larger variety of needle types and sizes try the Prym Combi Card.

Made in the Czech Republic from hardened steel and packaged in a reusable flip-open pack made of cardstock and plastic.

Local delivery

Customers in Northcote, Thornbury and nearby suburbs (subject to capacity) can select local delivery at checkout. Local delivery is extra-slow and coincides with my pram-walking/kid-wrangling schedule, up to one week after purchase. ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶
